Installation of the software requires downloading the cached Amazon database from the designated page. This database provides a snapshot of Amazon's inventory and should be refreshed daily prior to scanning. Users can choose from three database sizes: the small database focuses exclusively on media catalogs with a maximum sales rank of 2 million, while the medium and large databases encompass an even broader range of items.
